A resident was kicked after using a mobile phone to film trouble in a block of flats, magistrates in Nottingham heard yesterday.
He dialled 999 when he heard "a verbal altercation" and then locked the exit door, hoping to detain people until police arrived, said Margaret Martin, prosecuting.
