A father-of-two repeatedly punched his former partner and hit her with the metal handle of a brush, a court heard.Christiano Kettle was jailed for 15 months after he admitted assault, causing actual bodily harm and making a threat to kill.He was given a restraining order for five years.Kettle, 27, of Model Village, Creswell,Worksop, launched the attack at the woman's home in Retford in April.She suffered a swollen foot, forehead and jaw and a cut to the top of her head.
