Final submissions made in gay priest tribunal

The final submissions in the tribunal of a gay clergyman are being made this week.Canon Jeremy Pemberton, who married his partner Laurence Cunnington in 2014 , was refused permission to officiate by the Richard Inwood, the former acting bishop for the diocese of Southwell and Nottingham.Mr Pemberton arrived at the Nottingham Justice Centre in Carrington Street alongside supporters yesterday.Representatives for Mr Pemberton and the Church of England made their cases to the tribunal...
